Thank you, neige. I will wait. The x64 lite version does not fit my need. I prefer to reduce/setup my own version of Windows with the full version. ;)
to lcominghome : pack plus is included in this release as the ultimate extras too. For the difference between the 32 and 64 bit, it's faster if you search it on your own with Google.
to yzyfire : the x64 version is finished ! But it's 5 GB ! If you plan to reduce it yourself, then send me mail to see how I can get the folder with the release (no ISO image) on to you (Mediafire,...) so you can fix it from there on yourself.

Thanks, neige. I assume that I am not the only one who could be interested by this 5GB version. Mediafire is ok for me. Or why not another torrent?
Happy New Year ! The x64 regular release will be on 2 DVD's. I'll probably put on RS the non DVD edition for those who wish to slim it down on their own or I'll inlcude a text file with commands for ImageX on how to rebuild split wim files. Open to all suggestions !

IMHO, the less complicated method would be to share the 2DVD version and a 5GB iso (with a torrent) that we could work on it with vLite or whatever method.

Allright, I'll fix up 2 torrents as follows :
Torrent 1 : x64 Dec08 : 2 DVD's
Torrent 2 : x64 Dec08 : 1 DVD (5 GB) for workaround purpose. Hope this will be fine for everybody.

Thanks neige for your great release and detailed description. I know I always have doubts about torrents that don't seem to have the time and effort put into them. I will make another post when I am done downloading.

to yzyfire : x64 full release is online but in 2 DVD's. In the description there is the command line for PE Command Prompt to rebuild the install.wim file. It takes about 10 minutes. I made it this way, so I don't have to upload one more torrent just for workaround purposes. I hope this will suit all of you. If you need help send a mail. I've just finished a Vista Ultimate SP1 x86 Lite Release - Windows 7 Look. Those who are interested please mail me. Have a nice evening.
'Windows cannot install required files. The file may be corrupt or missing. Make sure all files required for installation are available and restart the installation. Error code: 0x80070017'
to sdiinc : such error message occurs when the DVD was burned too fast. Install.wim is a big file ! You must burn low speed !
Thanks Neige, burned again more slowly. Successful install, but odd problem now on restart; computer does not recognize the install and get the 'No OS detected'. With DVD in the drive windows boots fine, without, nothing. Any ideas anyone?
This installed okay, then when I went to login, it rebooted. Then, it went okay. I used the computer. Rebooted, then it is in an endless loop of reboots. I think I'll have to find another copy.

to therealsandaili : first strange error in almost 650 downloads (RS+TORRENTS) ! Strange thing ! Any chance getting to work in Safe Mode to where the problem is ?

Sorry for this problem. I just burned the DVD that's online and tested it. Runned it on :
1/ Virtual PC no problem it boot, you just have to strike a key when asked !
2/ Sun xVM VirtualBox : no problem too
3/ Real Test on my other computer, no problem, neither from Vista or on boot direct !
You are probably not doing something right or your DVD is corrupted. Change DVD and also do
not forget to to strike a key when asked !
Also check your boot options in BIOS.

Also 64bit is used on machines that have more than 3 gigs of ram becuase a 32 bit os wont support more than 3.25 gigs
I was using lite the was informed that no other languages can be installed, is it the same case with this version?

Could somebody walk me through the entire process after downloading until installantion?
I know I have to copy it as am image, at slow speed, but do I burn the entire folder, or just the exe file?
If so, the file has 4.01 g, and a cd has 700 m. How do I do it?
